Why did we start this site?
Frustrated and feeling helpless late one night, I decided to do one small thing the next day to contribute to peace. The world is very big, I am relatively small. But I figured that if I started where I was, I might make a difference for someone else. So I decided to spend the next day telling people that I appreciated what they were doing and telling them why.

Why stop at one day? I decided to make a goal each day to do one small thing.

Then (because I'm a web designer and writer) I decided I would keep track of my daily goals on a very simple web site. I hoped that it would remind me that one person can make a difference -- hopefully a positive one -- in one other person's life.

Each page has a quote and an action that applies the quote to my life. If you read archives in this site, hopefully you'll find something that applies to your life as well. If we each do a little good, we all will see positive changes.
