Walls for peace?
I've heard that good fences make good neighbors. Not in our yard. Our neighbors took down part of their fence last year, and we replaced that area with berry bushes and a trellis (which another good friend provided). Now it's fun to let the kids run between the yards. And when we have dinner together, we just tote our contribution across the green (or worn) grass to our friends' house.
Today I'll think about where I'm building walls or where I can take some down. Mental, emotional, physical. Some walls are good, but I'm going to make sure of the reasons why they are or aren't in place.
